This website, as it is being built

This site is the first piece of work we are documenting in the open.

Right now it is a quiet editorial space: a homepage meant to be read rather than scanned, a manifesto that rarely changes, a journal that accumulates like a notebook, and a Now page that says only what has genuinely shifted.

What is honest about it: it is not finished, and it is not pretending to be. The typography will settle. The rhythm will find itself. Some sentences will be deleted. That is the point.

What comes next, in no particular order:

• A second journal piece about restraint as a design philosophy.
• Tightening the motion so it is almost invisible.
• Letting the Work section hold more than one thing.

Nothing here exists because "we haven't posted in a while." Everything exists because it deserved to be remembered.
